After testing your bikes in this vibrant city, set out on the renowned Napoleonica trail—a cycling paradise that winds through the Carso hills. The Napoleonica route, named after Napoleon Bonaparte, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Gulf of Trieste and the Adriatic Sea. This scenic journey not only challenges your biking skills but also immerses you in the captivating landscapes and history that make Trieste a perfect starting point for an unforgettable biking adventure.

Day 2: Trieste – Portoroz via Parenzana

Length: approx. 50 km

On the second day of your cycling expedition, pedal from Trieste to the coastal gem of Portoroz via the historic Parenzana trail. Portoroz, nestled along the Adriatic, awaits with its sun-soaked beaches and vibrant seaside atmosphere. En route, take a captivating detour to explore the medieval marvel, Castle Socerb, perched atop a hill. Day 3: Portoroz – Motovun (via Parenzana)
